Onboarding & documentation

Everything you need to connect Pilot to your ERP and turn data into executive decisions.

How to connect Odoo ERP

Connect your Odoo instance to Pilot in under five minutes.

  1. 1Log into your Odoo account.
  2. 2Open My Profile.
  3. 3Open Security → API Keys.
  4. 4Create a new API key.
  5. 5Paste the key into Pilot.
  6. 6Pilot automatically imports your ERP signals and begins analysis.

Odoo credentials setup

Best practice: a read-only Odoo service account dedicated to Pilot.

  1. 1In Odoo, go to Settings → Users & Companies → Users → Create.
  2. 2Name the user 'Pilot Integration' and set a strong password.
  3. 3Assign a custom security group with read access to required modules only.
  4. 4Disable login UI access; keep API access enabled.
  5. 5Generate an API key under the user's preferences.
  6. 6Paste the API key into Pilot's connection screen.
  7. 7Rotate the key every 90 days — Pilot supports zero-downtime rotation.

Data synchronization

Understand sync modes, schedules and data freshness.

  1. 1Real-time mode: Pilot listens to ERP webhooks and updates within seconds.
  2. 2Scheduled mode: configurable intervals from 5 minutes to 24 hours.
  3. 3Initial backfill: historical sync covers up to 5 years of transactional data.
  4. 4Module-level toggles let you pause specific feeds without losing state.
  5. 5Sync health is visible in Settings → Integrations → Status, with per-entity counters.
  6. 6Failed syncs trigger executive alerts and automatic retries with exponential backoff.

AI recommendations

How Pilot turns ERP signals into prioritized actions.

  1. 1Pilot's reasoning engine evaluates the business across sales, procurement and production every hour.
  2. 2Each recommendation includes: action, expected impact, confidence score and underlying evidence.
  3. 3Use the 'Show evidence' button to see the exact ERP records that triggered the recommendation.
  4. 4Recommendations can be Approved, Delegated, Rejected or Snoozed — every action is audited.
  5. 5Tune sensitivity per category (e.g. churn risk vs supplier risk) in Settings → Recommendations.
  6. 6Connect Slack, email or Telegram for executive-priority alerts.

Forecasting

Generate and interpret AI forecasts grounded in your ERP history.

  1. 1Open Forecasts and choose a target: revenue, demand, cash, capacity or spend.
  2. 2Pick a dimension: company, region, product line, SKU, channel or supplier.
  3. 3Select horizon: 4, 8, 13 or 26 weeks ahead.
  4. 4Pilot returns the forecast with confidence bands and key drivers.
  5. 5Compare scenarios side by side (baseline, optimistic, pessimistic).
  6. 6Pin forecasts to your executive briefing for daily monitoring.

Executive Copilot

Get the most from your AI Chief of Staff.

  1. 1Ask any question in plain language: 'What should I do today?', 'Forecast EMEA Q3', 'Top 5 at-risk accounts'.
  2. 2Pin frequent prompts as morning briefings — they run automatically each day.
  3. 3Use 'Why?' on any answer to surface drivers and source data.
  4. 4Delegate actions to team members; they receive a Pilot task with full context.
  5. 5Switch surfaces seamlessly: web today; Telegram, WhatsApp and voice on the roadmap.

Security and privacy

How we protect your ERP data and executive intelligence.

  1. 1All ERP data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3.
  2. 2Per-tenant encryption keys with optional customer-managed keys (CMK) on Enterprise.
  3. 3Read-only by default: no writes to your ERP without explicit, audited approval.
  4. 4Strict tenant isolation across compute, storage and AI context — no cross-tenant access.
  5. 5Full audit log of every AI recommendation, executive action and integration event.
  6. 6SOC 2 alignment in progress; data residency options for EU/US/MENA on Enterprise.
